Community Guidelines

Our Community Standard

Key Club is a professional community built on mutual respect, genuine support, and shared growth. Every member — regardless of background, career stage, or experience level — deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued here.

Members agree to participate respectfully in all Key Club spaces, including live sessions, community forums, group chats, workshops, and any other platform features. These guidelines apply to all interactions within Key Club's community.

1. Be Respectful

Treat every member with dignity and respect. Disagreements happen — handle them professionally and constructively. Personal attacks, condescension, or dismissive behavior toward other members or Key Club staff will not be tolerated.

• Critique ideas, not people
• Be mindful of tone in written communication
• Respect different perspectives, backgrounds, and career paths
• Acknowledge and celebrate others' wins genuinely

2. No Harassment or Discrimination

Harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited. This includes:

• Verbal abuse, threats, or intimidation
• Unwanted sexual advances or comments
• Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic
• Targeted harassment or "pile-ons" against any individual
• Sharing private information about others without consent (doxxing)

3. No Spam or Unsolicited Promotion

Key Club community spaces are for learning, connection, and growth — not advertising. The following are prohibited without prior written approval from Key Club:

• Promoting your own products, services, or business
• Sharing affiliate links or referral codes
• Recruiting members for other communities, programs, or platforms
• Repetitive or off-topic posting
• Mass messaging other members without their consent

4. Keep Content Appropriate

All content shared in Key Club spaces must be professional and appropriate. Do not share:

• Explicit, graphic, or sexually suggestive content
• Content that promotes violence, illegal activity, or self-harm
• Misinformation or deliberately misleading content
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights

5. Protect Privacy

Respect the privacy of all community members:

• Do not share personal information about other members without their consent
• Do not record or screenshot private conversations without permission
• What is shared in community spaces should stay within the community
• Treat sensitive career and personal information shared by members with discretion

6. Contribute Constructively

The strength of Key Club is in its members. We encourage you to:

• Share knowledge, resources, and opportunities generously
• Offer constructive feedback when asked
• Participate actively in sessions and community discussions
• Support members who are going through challenging career moments

7. Enforcement

Key Club moderators and staff monitor community spaces and take violations seriously. Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, consequences may include:

• A warning or reminder of community standards
• Temporary suspension from community spaces
• Permanent removal from the Key Club community
• Termination of membership without refund

Key Club may remove members for harassment, spam, inappropriate behavior, misuse of community spaces, or violation of these guidelines, with or without prior notice, at our sole discretion.

8. Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience a violation of these guidelines, please report it to us at hello@joinkeyclub.com. All reports are treated confidentially. We are committed to investigating every report and taking appropriate action.
